RECONFIGURE YOUR DEVICE

It is a tunnel to elsewhere...so when you look at it, do you recognize that?  Change your homescreen.  Greyscale it so that it is less captivating to your attention...turn off notifications that aren't from humans...re-organize your homescreen so that it includes only in and out tools and aspirational uses, not things that will suck your attention.

Learn mindfulness techniques for taking charge of your attention.  Become significantly more intentional about how you deploy your attention throughout the day, and aware of triggers that make you reach for your phone.
